FAQ

On the server. Browsers cannot open SOCKS or most HTTP proxies, so we connect through each proxy to a first-party judge.

HTTP, HTTPS, SOCKS4 and SOCKS5. A protocol:// prefix is a hint, not blind trust — the engine tries the supported types itself.

A deterministic reading of the headers the judge saw. Transparent leaked your real IP. Anonymous hid the IP but still sent proxy headers. Elite looks like a direct request.

No. The list lives only in the current run, in memory. Passwords are never rendered in the table and are omitted from the default export.

Live and useful are different. Many targets drop datacenter IPs. The reachability matrix shows which curated hosts the proxy actually reached.

Up to 10,000 per run. Results stream as they complete, and you can stop mid-run. There is no captcha.

Country, city, ISP and ASN come from MaxMind GeoLite2 when the database is configured. Blacklists come from DNSBL zones including Spamhaus ZEN. That column is a report fact, not a DNSBL write-up — blacklist details live on a dedicated page. Sources and licenses are documented with the tool.

No. Outbound targets are limited to our judge and a curated allow-list, so the tool cannot become an open relay or a scanner.
